Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Maintain costing of all related project costing.
• Responsible for Quantity Take-offs (estimates, costings, and bill of materials) of project/s for land development and vertical structures.
• Responsible for Quantity Take-offs for change orders and site instructions as may be assigned.
• Attends seminars for updates on cost estimation innovation.
• Check completeness of plans and specifications and coordinates with architecture department prior to estimating.
• Responsible for updates on estimated project cost based on current materials cost on assigned cost.
• Monitor actual cost of project assigned.
• Collates cost estimates of each item work for a particular project.
• Maintain cost data and labor productivity rates and update on a regular basis.
• Recommends alternative solutions to Architect/s based on cost implication.
• Manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for procurement monitoring and job contracts.
• Responsible for encoding of Bill of Quantities in ERP.
• Attend coordination meeting with designers and project site engineers.
• Attends to other tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor&aposs degree in Civil Engineering Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer, preferred but not necessary
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in in estimating of horizontal and vertical projects.
