JOB SUMMARY
- The Site QS Cost Control Supervisor is responsible in maintaining the project's financial health through preparation of cost reports and analysis to the Project Team and other company stakeholders.
Your Role, Your Impact
- Prepare detailed and baseline budgets, including quantity and cost estimates based on project scope and drawings.
- Supervise engineering teams to ensure efficient site operations aligned with policies.
- Develop BOQ, BOM, and TOR for project awards.
- Monitor actual costs vs. approved budgets and prepare cost reports for project financial decisions
- Manage contractor billing, validate documents, and reconcile with contractor counterparts.
- Track and evaluate change orders, claims, and time extensions.
- Coordinate POC recognition with Planning and assist in consolidated cost monitoring.
- Handle project contract management, including meetings, correspondence, and negotiations.
- Execute budget transfers and supplemental requests as needed.
- Promote cost control awareness and maintain effective communication across teams.
- Support additional tasks related to cost control and project execution as assigned.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field.
- Must have relative experience working in General Contractors and Consultancy firms as a Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Cost Control, Commercial or QS Engineer
- Intermediate level of proficiency with SAP, MS Word, PowerPoint and AutoCAD
- Expert level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Preferably knowledgeable in Procore, Smartsheet or Oracle PPM.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
