The Opportunity
Allegro is looking for a meticulous and proactive Technician to join our team, playing a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our semiconductor manufacturing processes. What You Will Do
- Ensure Quality & Accountability: Uphold and exemplify accountability, discipline, moral conduct, and 5S principles. Ensure technicians strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support Continuous Improvement (CI): Actively monitor and support all CI packages in line, equipped with the necessary tools for electrical process improvements.
- Perform Electrical Test Verification: Conduct thorough electrical test reject verification on Check Inspection's sampling test failures using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and manual setups, validating against Test Specification limits.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather CI verification data and create comprehensive reports (QDMS) for MPE's further verification and disposition.
- Equipment Setup & Troubleshooting: Perform calibration/correlation, handler setup using Rasco Cell Controller (CC) and/or Automatic Program Loader (APL), HSI, and other related activities. Conduct initial troubleshooting for CI failures.
- Operational Support: Assist QC inspectors with in/offline setup and provide sustaining support for check inspection operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with FA-Laboratory personnel regarding Failure Analysis results (e.g., decapsulation, bond cratering, SEM) for valid electrical rejects found at check inspection.
- Documentation & Trend Analysis: Support data collection for Material Review Board (MRB) or Non-conformance Report (NCR) generation and trend reports for CATS/OS. Maintain and update all necessary data in the CI Database for lot monitoring.
- Tool & Instrument Upkeep: Ensure tools and instruments are well-maintained and in good condition.
- Team Contribution: Collaborate with peers to achieve departmental and company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
What Will You Bring
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or a 3-year Technical/Vocational graduate qualification.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
