Job Description
Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve strategizing to enhance delivery efficiency and ensuring high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. You will leverage your business and functional expertise to craft comprehensive testing strategies, applying established quality processes and methodologies to achieve optimal results. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and testing efficiency. - Mentor and support team members in their professional development and technical skills. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Katalon Studio. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Automated Testing. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles. - Proficient in developing and executing test plans and test cases. - Experience with defect tracking and management tools. - Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights for improvement. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Katalon Studio. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
