Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer (QE) with strong experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with at least one leading automation tool such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca, and be passionate about delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects while working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and defect triage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
• Strong experience in manual testing across web and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following automation tools: Selenium, Appium, Playwright and Tosca
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or other enterprise environments.
