Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Summary: As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The role includes continuous testing activities across various stages of the application lifecycle, focusing on security, application programming interface, and regression testing. The Quality Engineer also develops and maintains automation strategies and scripts, supports data and environment configurations, and actively participates in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects to facilitate ongoing improvements in the testing process are key aspects of daily responsibilities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. - Assist in the design and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality. - Maintain clear and detailed documentation of testing procedures and outcomes. - Support the continuous integration and deployment processes by ensuring automated tests are reliable and effective. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in TOSCA Testsuite. - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting techniques. - Experience in designing and executing functional, regression, and security tests. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. - Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance principles. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in TOSCA Testsuite. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
