Quality Engineer

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The role includes continuous testing activities across security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The individual contributes to the development and maintenance of automation strategies and scripts, supports configuration of data and environments, and actively participates in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to fostering continuous improvement throughout the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring that the software meets the desired standards and performance expectations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities. - Drive process improvements to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Automated Testing. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Katalon, Playwright. - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices. - Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts for various testing types. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing. - Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to ensure software quality. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing. - This position is based at our Manila office. - A Katalon, Playwright is required. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
