Position Summary
The Technical QA Specialist verifies websites by testing system behavior, infrastructure, and technical compatibility beyond standard user interface validation. This role serves as a critical bridge between development and testing, ensuring that code execution, performance, security, and technical standards meet organizational requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Validation & Testing
- Test websites for compatibility across browsers, devices, and environments, ensuring consistent behavior and performance.
- Validate website infrastructure, including server responses, resource rendering, and system-level interactions.
- Assess code execution, including JavaScript behavior and CSS rendering accuracy.
- Evaluate overall performance, identifying opportunities to improve page speed, loading efficiency, and stability.
Search & Indexing Quality
- Conduct Crawling and Indexing Reviews to ensure websites are properly accessible and indexable by search engines.
- Perform Schema Markup Validation to confirm that structured data is correctly implemented and interpretable by search engines.
Security & Compliance Testing
- Perform security and penetration reviews to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the protection of sensitive data.
- Confirm that technical implementations comply with internal security best practices.
Tools & Scripts Management
- Develop and execute Test Scripts (Python) to automate technical testing workflows.
- Run automated tools such as:
- Spelling and Grammar Checker
- Broken Link Checker
Documentation & Asset Maintenance, Maintains and updates key technical QA documentation and shared resources:
- Technical Test Plans
- Technical Test Cases
- Test Scripts (Python)
- Tenet Websites Master List (shared)
- Test Execution Tracker (shared)
