Role Description The Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Navotas. This position is responsible for establishing and implementing QA/QC procedures across construction and related projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, local regulations, and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing inspection and test plans, conducting site inspections, monitoring work quality, and documenting non-conformities with corrective actions. The engineer coordinates with project managers, design teams, and contractors to resolve quality issues, supports quality audits, and maintains accurate records and reports. The role also involves continuous improvement of quality management processes, contributing to safer, more efficient, and higher-performing projects.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, including developing and implementing inspection and test plans.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with experience in establishing standards, procedures, and workflows.
- Background in Quality Auditing, including conducting internal audits and supporting external audits or certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in QA/QC for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams on-site in Imus.
- Proficiency in basic office and project documentation software; familiarity with QA/QC tools or systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar QA/QC engineer role within construction or property development is preferred.
