Job Description

The QA/QC Engineer Fit-Out & MEPFS is responsible for ensuring all architectural, finishing, structural, and MEPFS works comply with approved plans, specifications, and standards. The role oversees multiple projects, validates subcontractor and supplier billings before payment, conducts supplier quality inspections, leads or participates in material testing, prepares Methodology of Works for client approval, and signs Certificates of Completion (COC) and Certificates of Final Acceptance (CFA).

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or

Architecture.

Licensed Engineer or Architect (preferred but not required).

Certification in QA/QC, ISO 9001 (is advantage), Construction Quality Control, or related fields is an

advantage.

24 years minimum experience in QA/QC for Fit-Out and MEPFS construction projects.

Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, NCR workflows, and QA/QC documentation.

Hands-on experience in testing & commissioning, material inspection, and approval processes.

Knowledgeable in Philippine Codes and Standards: PEC, NBCP, Plumbing Code, Fire Code, ACI,

ASTM, NFPA.

Ability to interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS drawings, riser diagrams, and BOQs.

Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Technical Skills:

QA/QC inspection of Fit-Out and MEPFS works.

Material receiving inspection and supplier quality validation.

Testing & commissioning supervision for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and auxiliary systems.

Evaluation and approval of Material Submittals (MS) and Methodology of Works.

Preparation and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

NCR issuance, tracking, and closure management.

Billing validation and quantity accomplishment verification.

Preparation of QA/QC documentation: MIRs, IRs, test reports, checklists, QA/QC logs.

Use of testing tools such as multimeter, megger, pressure gauges, clamp meter, etc.

Analytical & Reporting Skills:

Strong analytical assessment for material acceptance or rejection.

Ability to identify deviations and defects immediately.

Proficiency in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.

Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and digital QA/QC systems.
