White Cloak Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across multiple projects and teams. This role is crucial for defining QA strategies, leading testing efforts, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee QA activities across multiple projects and product teams.
- Define and implement QA processes, standards, best practices, and testing strategies.
- Review business requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability and quality coverage.
- Plan, assign, and monitor QA tasks to ensure timely delivery of testing activities.
- Create and review test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution with development and product teams.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Identify project risks related to quality and proactively recommend mitigation plans.
- Mentor and coach QA team members, providing guidance on testing methodologies and career development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
- Support test automation initiatives and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior QA role.
- Strong experience in manual testing and software quality processes.
- Proven experience creating test strategies, test plans, and comprehensive test documentation.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Experience managing defect lifecycles and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, risk-based testing, and quality metrics.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies.
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
- Experience testing fintech, enterprise, or large-scale digital applications.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
