Ventaja is looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in web and mobile application testing. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing skills, basic API testing knowledge, and the ability to use AI tools for faster and smarter QA execution. Exposure to automation tools and fintech applications will be an advantage. This is a work-from-office role based in Manila.

What You'll Do

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT testing across various browsers, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to accelerate test case generation, discover edge cases, prepare regression checklists, and polish defect logs.
• Use Postman (or similar tools) to validate requests/responses, status codes, error handling, and basic JSON structures.
• Identify, log, and track bugs in tools like Jira/ClickUp, collaborating closely with developers to ensure quick resolution and robust impact testing.
• Participate in production validation, highlight release risks, and prepare clear QA sign-off notes.

What We Are Looking For

• 2–4 years of proven QA experience in both web and mobile application environments.
• Proficient with bug tracking software (Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, etc.) and API testing via Postman.
• Practical experience using AI tools to optimize QA workflows (while maintaining final human judgment and ownership).
• Strong test case design, requirement gap identification, and solid understanding of SDLC/STLC processes.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with dev teams.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Experience testing Fintech, payment systems, remittance, or transaction-based applications.
• Experience validating apps involving KYC, user registration, or admin dashboards.
• Basic SQL knowledge and database-level validation experience.
