Position Overview
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong test automation expertise to help ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise applications. In this role, you will work closely with developers, business stakeholders, and QA professionals to build and execute comprehensive testing strategies throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with test automation, API validation, regression testing, and quality assurance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
- Perform end-to-end testing activities across multiple phases of the application lifecycle, including functional, regression, API, integration, and security testing.
- Develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts using TOSCA Testsuite.
- Review application changes and participate in code and test reviews to promote adherence to quality standards.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects while working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and manage test environments, test data, and supporting configurations required for successful execution of test cases.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to validate new features and ensure smooth product releases.
- Provide technical guidance on testing best practices and contribute to process improvements within the QA function.
- Troubleshoot testing issues, analyze results, and recommend enhancements that improve overall product quality.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables while contributing to team discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience using TOSCA Testsuite for test automation.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test cases.
- Working knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with application security testing and regression testing practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret test results and identify root causes of defects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile environment.
