Role Description
A full-time role for a QA Engineer in Makati responsible for designing, running, and spearheading test plans, documenting any bugs or defects during the development process, and ensuring pre-launch and post-launch checks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for all web projects.
- Perform thorough functional, usability, cross-browser, and responsiveness testing of websites to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance.
- Document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature implementations.
- Verify final website integrity, data accuracy, and system functionality prior to client acceptance and launch.
- Conduct sanity checks with the developers to make sure post-launch is successful.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- With 1-3 years of relevant experience in QA and Testing
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, browser testing, and responsive design principles
- Experience with automated testing is a plus
- Strong understanding of web development processes (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, CMS platforms)
