Department: Quality Assurance Unit

Immediate Supervisor: Managing Director

Direct Reports: QAU Manager, Senior Auditor II, Senior QAU Analysts

Coordination Channel: All Departments and Divisions (Internal), Government Units, Clients, Professional Organization (External)

Work Set-up: Day shift/ Full onsite

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation of the Firm's Quality Control System.

• Recommend new policies and revisions to existing policies for Firm's compliance.

• Provide guidance and consultation on the application of accounting and auditing standards to partners and staff.

• Facilitate and speak in training and seminars on soft and technical skills for the Firm's employees and clients to ensure continuing professional development.

• Attend and contribute to the meetings of the Philippine Interpretation Committee (PIC).

• Conduct research works to update the firm on newly issued technical pronouncements.

• Review financial statements and audit reports of high-risk audit clients.

Qualifications:

A. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy

• Must be a CPA MBA is an advantage

B. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• At least 10 years experience in local external audit or quality assurance

• 2-3 years of leadership experience/people management background

C. SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Technical Skills(Refers to knowledge, ability, proficiency & expertise required to perform the job)

• High understanding and application of the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards

• High understanding and application of the Philippine Standards in Auditing

• High understanding and application of relevant laws and regulations

• High understanding and application of the International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM)

Soft Skills

• Leadership skills

• Business development and organization skills

• High communication and presentation skills as they would be training both technical and soft skills, and they would need to explain elaborately the interpretations of some standards

• High data analysis and computation skills
