About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Automation QA Specialist to design and execute automated test scripts for our web-based applications. You will work closely with manual QA, product, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases and reduce manual testing cycles.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about building and maintaining automation tests that make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain automated test scripts using TestIM, and run automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Support the QA team by identifying areas for automation and reducing repetitive manual testing.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Manual QA to understand test requirements and ensure proper coverage.

Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report issues clearly.

Assist in maintaining test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

Ensure defects are properly logged, tracked, and validated after fixes.

Help improve QA processes by sharing automation best practices and identifying efficiency gains.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in QA with at least 2+ years focused on test automation.

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestIM or Playwright.

Basic scripting/programming skills (JavaScript, Python, or Java preferred).

Familiarity with API testing and automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Experience working with Jira, TestRail, or other test management tools.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and accountability.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Able to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.

Familiarity with AI concepts and tools for testing and automation

Bonus Points For

Experience in FinTech or other regulated industries.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.

This is a remote role based in the Philippines, aligned with Eastern Time (EST) U.S. hours.
