Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to both manual and automated testing efforts to deliver high-quality products and seamless user experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a passion for quality, and is experienced in both manual and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and project stakeholders to understand business requirements, project scope, and testing needs.
• Review requirements and provide feedback on test coverage, quality risks, and potential gaps.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure product quality and stability.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities when required.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Track and manage defects using test management and bug-tracking tools.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and execution results.
• Prepare and communicate testing progress, quality metrics, and release readiness reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and project discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product releases and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production deployments and perform post-deployment validation activities.
• Participate in rotational deployment support and system health monitoring activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail, Testmo, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
