Job Description Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Title:

Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures that all products manufactured by FCCDCI meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for inspecting raw materials, packaging, inprocess goods, and finished products, while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with ISO and Philippine regulatory standards. The analyst provides technical support to production teams, identifies defects, and recommends corrective actions to uphold product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Conduct inspection of finished goods (incoming and outgoing).
  • Inspect raw materials, packaging, and inprocess goods, maintaining logs and records.
  • Ensure every bottle produced adheres to FCCDCI quality standards.
  • Manage laboratory processes such as calibration and analysis of raw materials.
  • Document and report defects, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Provide technical assistance to production teams on quality issues.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain QA/QC records and ensure adherence to ISO quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor Quality Management Systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine FDA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for management review.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be a Licensed Chemist (Philippines).
  • At least 12 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of defect management practices and root cause analysis.
  • Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (with Chemist licensure), Chemical Engineering (with Licensure as Chemical Technician), Food Technology, or equivalent, as long as with Licensure as Chemical Technician.

Collaboration

  • Works closely with Operations, Production, and Logistics teams.
  • Coordinates with Marketing and Sales for product quality feedback.
  • Supports Admin and Accounting for compliance documentation.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the Quality Research & Development Manager (or COO if standalone).
  • Provides QA/QC updates to cross-functional teams and management.
