QC Drafter (Fiber & Copper exp) - WFH | Night Shift (A-MT)

Overview:

TheQC Drafteris responsible for AutoCAD design of wireless telecommunication sites, including new raw land sites, colocations on existing towers, antennas, rooftops, and water tanks.

Work Details:

• Work from Home
• Monday to Friday | Night Shift | 9 PM to 6 AM
• Will follow US Holidays

In addition, you will:

• Ensure drawings are completed according to the client's timeline
• Ability to learn all equipment associated with the wireless industry
• Serve as the primary resource to the A&E Project Manager
• Help develop drawing standards and templates for department use
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members and clients
• Independently read field notes and translate the information to AutoCAD
• Create production drawings utilizing materials such as concrete, steel, CMU from the A&E Project Manager's markups, photos, and sketches to scale under minimal supervision
• Develop necessary views, sections, and details for supervision
• Maintain project drawing files, associated records, and documentation in an orderly condition

Qualifications

About You:

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2012 or newer in an engineering/drafting environment
• 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD drafter is required
• Experience inconstruction and the wireless industry required, outside plant experience a plus
• Extensive experience in fiber and copper telecom design required.
• Effective communication skills, including verbal and written skills
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
• A demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Work effectively in a team setting while handling personal workload
• Ability to follow directions and a willingness to learn
