Job Description

We are looking for a QA Lead Engineer with strong automation experience to drive quality across our web application ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings leadership in test strategy, hands-on automation skills, and solid understanding of modern frontend and backend architectures. While this role is primarily focused on QA leadership and automation, exposure to TypeScript-based applications and basic familiarity with blockchain/Web3 concepts is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end QA strategy for web platforms, ensuring high-quality, stable, and scalable releases.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Oversee test planning, test case development, execution, and defect management.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure testability of new features and continuous quality improvements.
  • Enable and enforce QA best practices, coding standards, and automation guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments, drive regression strategies, and coordinate release readiness.
  • Mentor QA engineers and foster a culture of quality ownership within the team.
  • Contribute to documentation, quality reports, and engineering process improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Mentor team members on test automation best practices.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years focused on test automation.
  • Strong hands-on automation skills with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of web application architecture (frontend + backend).
  • Experience testing applications built with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks (Postman, Supertest, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with testing and BDD frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cucumber, or SpecFlow.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and browser DevTools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership capabilities.
