Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that preassembled components, WIP products and finish goods meet the company's quality standards. Monitor and secure the preventive maintenance and calibration of the equipment. Observe and watch the environment condition of the working area. Support process audit and closure of audited items as needed.
  • Inspection & Testing: Inspect WIP products and finish goods to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Use visual inspection tools such as microscope to inspect and verify appearance standards. Perform various tests (e.g., visual, functional, mechanical) on some WIP and FG. Measure physical attributes using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Conduct material or product sampling to identify defects or non-conformities.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Record and document all IPQC and FQC results. Maintain accurate logs of inspections, findings, and test results. Report any issues to the Quality Assurance Engineer and/or Process Engineering. Prepare and submit reports on quality metrics related to in process and outgoing inspection.
  • Non-Conformance Handling: Identify and escalate non-conforming materials to the appropriate department. Assist in the root cause analysis for recurring quality issues. Ensure that rejected or non-conforming materials are handled, documented, and segregated properly
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the in process and outgoing inspection process. Recommend changes to inspection procedures based on trends in quality data. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • System Transactions: Ensure accurate transaction in systems used by QA such as SAP, MetricQC, FIS and Test Engine if applicable in the process.

Education & Experience

  • At least one year working experience as Quality Inspector in the related field
  • Atleast high school graduate
