We're seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, high-impact healthcare software. In this role, you will be a critical part of our development lifecycle ensuring every product release, enhancement, and data migration is thoroughly tested, stable, and ready for real clinical environments.
You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers to design testing strategies, build robust automated test suites, and continuously improve our QA processes. Your work will directly affect the reliability, safety, and trust clinicians place in our software every day.
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, integrations, and system upgrades
- Partner with developers to identify, document, and reproduce defects early in the development cycle
- Build efficient regression and smoke test suites to support frequent, reliable deployments
- Validate data migration processes and application upgrades to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Drive continuous improvement of QA practices, introducing new automation strategies, tools, and methodologies
- Contribute to defining acceptance criteria and participate in sprint planning and reviews to ensure quality is embedded from the start
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automated)
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or similar
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend systems/APIs
- Experience working with databases and SQL
- Experience testing data-intensive systems or healthcare applications is a strong plus
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset you identify issues before users encounter them
