At JoyRide, we're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will help ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our mobile and web applications. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in test automation using Appium, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for building reliable test frameworks in a fast-paced product environment.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and the QA team to create and maintain automated test scripts, improve test coverage, and help deliver high-quality features for our users.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in test automation
- hands-on experience with Appium
- Experience with API testing and validating mobile app interactions with backend services.
- Familiarity with mobile debugging tools
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test case design, and mobile UI/UX testing principles
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile (iOS & Android) applications
- Build and improve our mobile automation framework using Appium
- Validate API integrations and ensure smooth interaction between mobile apps and backend services
- Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and performance concerns
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
- Help improve QA processes, test strategies, and automation best practices
