Python Application Developer

Job Purpose:

Python Developer will be responsible for translating program specifications into efficient, optimized software code for complex components. In this role, you will assist the Lead Developer in the technical design and documentation of program specifications while ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and meet the company's software development standards.

Key responsibilities include providing technical support for production systems, troubleshooting issues with minimal disruption, and performing thorough testing (unit and integration). You will also be involved in evaluating test results and addressing bugs. Additionally, you will prepare necessary systems documentation and operating procedures, and guide Junior Developers in resolving technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in supporting in-house developed and acquired software and mobile apps.
• Responsible for translating program specifications into software codes that make up a new system or components of an existing application in accordance with the business needs.
• Understand current infrastructure and stack in order to employ best AWS solutions
• Create different AWS services such as API, RDS instance and Lambda to build a serverless application
• Create reusable, effective, and scalable code

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Python programming
• Knowledge in any frontend development (vueJS, reactJS, or Angular) is an advantage
• Working knowledge of SQL and Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL and PostgresSQL
• Direct experience with Agile software development methodologies (advantage)
• Knowledgeable in GitHub or other code repositories
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development
• 2+ years of professional experience in core AWS services
