Job Summary:
To efficiently handle the processing of local and foreign purchases for the supplies and services required for plant operations. To ensure the sourcing and procurement of raw materials and supplies essential for the company's operations, manages supplier relationships, negotiates pricing and contracts, and ensures timely delivery of materials to meet production needs. Also focuses on cost control, conducts market analysis, and resolves any supply chain issues to maintain the quality and consistency of materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures availability of supplies and services for uninterrupted operations through on-time and correct purchasing from accredited suppliers.
- Ensures purchased items are of good quality, of the least price, and are delivered according to the plant's requirements.
- Ensures complete and accurate records of accredited suppliers of supplies and services (contact details, quotations, payments, etc.)
- Ensures compliance to BFAD, DENR, HALAL, and HACCP requirements.
- Ensure strict observance of work hours, attendance, punctuality and 100% compliance to Safety and Housekeeping Guidelines.
- Requests for quotations for supplies or services from suppliers and reviews procurement contracts.
- Monitors open Purchase Requests (PR's) and undelivered approved Purchase Orders and ensures these are processed accordingly.
- Approve new suppliers for accreditation and evaluation of accredited suppliers. Communicates results of evaluation with the suppliers.
- Recommends changes in the system with the purpose of improving operating techniques or reducing costs.
- Book flight & hotel accommodation for foreign visitor.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 58 years of procurement experience, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
