Job Description

We are seeking a Purchasing Manager or Assistant Manager to oversee the full procurement lifecyclefrom sourcing to delivery. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. The ideal candidate will ensure the company procures high-quality products at competitive prices, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to meet internal and external merchandise needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure value while maintaining product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, including price lists, purchase orders, supplier contracts, and related records.
  • Review and analyze quotations and product details to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with requested specifications and quantities.
  • Regularly assess supplier performance based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on procurement activities for management review.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a systematic approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
