We are currently looking for a
Purchasing Assistant. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. The Procurement Assistant will ensure that the company secures high-quality products at competitive prices while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Identify, research, and build relationships with suppliers to meet the companys internal and external requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, ensuring that items meet specified quality and requirements.
- Review, compare, and analyze price quotations and product specifications to make informed procurement decisions.
- Monitor and ensure that orders are delivered on time and match the specifications and quantities requested.
- Regularly assess supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, reliability, and adherence to delivery schedules
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or any related field
- Must have prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing roles
- Must have strong organizational and administrative skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a structured approach to managing tasks
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build positive supplier relationships
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
