Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Account Manager leads client relationships, oversees PR campaigns, and mentors the team. Balancing strategy and execution, this role ensures seamless account management, impactful media strategies, and team growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management & Relations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring their PR and media needs are met.
  • Guide clients through messaging, publicity efforts, and crisis management when needed.
  • Lead media training and internal briefings to help clients and teams communicate effectively.
  • Keep an eye on client goals and industry trends to make sure strategies stay relevant.

  1. Account & Project Management
  • Oversee 3-5 PR accounts, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide leadership in crisis situations, helping teams navigate high-pressure moments.
  • Manage budgets for PR projects, ensuring smart allocation of resources.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to streamline workflows and improve processes.

  1. Strategy & Industry Insights
  • Lead the development of strategic publicity plans that meet key performance indicators.
  • Offer guidance on media messaging, storytelling, and campaign direction.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and translate insights into actionable PR strategies.
  • Use data visualization and reporting to measure and communicate campaign impact.

  1. Leadership & Growth
  • Mentor and develop Account Managers and Executives, helping them grow in their roles.
  • Lead pitch development and contribute to new business efforts.
  • Continuously improve PR services, processes, and team efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment where creativity thrives.
