Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator assists the PMO Manager in all project-related matters.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Coordinating PMO activities with Regional Project Managers, Business Operations and other senior stakeholders
  • Administrative support and coordination for the PMO as required
  • Conducting weekly/ monthly Project Check-in meetings with Regional PMs
  • Supporting throughout the project lifecycle for bid reviews, project budgets, forecasts and billing cycles
  • Supporting PMs with resource utilization and forecasting
  • Using PSA to run weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on overall project health and compliance
  • Providing support and advice to Project Managers to increase compliance of their projects
  • Running status report packs for the region
  • Training and supporting all project teams

Work Environment

  • Involves prolonged periods of PC and telephone usage in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is accountable for continuously receiving and handling high volumes of work orders.
  • Works in a team environment interact with multiple internal and external customers.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent education, professional training, or work experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in PMO
  • Excellent knowledge of project financials (including budgeting and forecasting)
  • Experience working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to work through routine and administrative tasks
  • Ability to work well with global teams
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Requirements

  • Project-related certification preferred
  • Experience working in global PMO, and matrix organizations will be an advantage
