Role Overview
The Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of software development projects under the guidance of senior project managers. The Project Specialist assists in tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, facilitating team communication, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope. This role is critical for contributing to the successful delivery of software projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for software development projects.
- Track project progress, document milestones, and report status updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between development teams, clients, and internal departments.
- Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation (e.g., product backlog, project plans, meeting minutes, status reports).
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in software project management or related roles
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)
- Basic understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
