Job Description

Non Negotiable:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an Agile software development environment.
  • Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and experience transitioning teams from traditional to Agile workflows.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of modern front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, APIs) and CI/CD pipelines to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Job Qualifications:

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a focus on servant-leadership and team empowerment.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Agile Facilitation: Lead core Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure adherence to the Scrum framework.
  • Project Governance: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, managing timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Impediment Management: Proactively identify and remove roadblocks or external distractions that hinder the development team's progress, ensuring a high-productivity environment.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team, product owners, and senior management to manage expectations and provide transparent status reporting.
  • Backlog & Quality Oversight: Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are well-defined and ready for the development cycle.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to track performance and lead the team toward continuous process optimization and technical excellence.
