Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Banking domain expertise who has successfully handled complex system replacement or transformation projects. The candidate should have solid experience across project management knowledge areas and processes, managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, risks, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large and complex system replacement / transformation projects within the banking domain.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and leadership to deliver project objectives.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure adherence to project management knowledge areas such as scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, communication, procurement, and stakeholder management.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Oversee system migration, integration, testing, and implementation activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security, and governance standards.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate UAT, change management, and go-live activities.
- Drive process improvements and best practices in project management.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Banking domain projects.
- Proven experience managing complex system replacement / modernization / transformation programs.
- Solid understanding of project management frameworks and knowledge areas.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong risk management, governance, and delivery management skills.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with core banking platforms, digital banking, or payment systems.
- Exposure to data migration, legacy modernization, and system integration.
- Familiarity with banking regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise programs.
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Certification
- Program or Project Management certifications are an added advantage.
