Purpose of the Job:
- Overall responsible for the NPI and successful management of project cost, quality and timing
- Support existing projects throughout its life cycle including Engineering change control and product end of life activities
Project Management
- Ensures the planning, implementation, monitoring and control of projects, ensuring full satisfaction of the clients needs
- Plans and manages the resource requirements of the projects, e.g. staff, CAPEX, materials, etc.
- Ensures that the projects are managed within the approved policies and standards
- Responsible for the financial costs in connection with the implementation of the projects
- Facilitates high level interaction between the Company, customer and factory
- Ensures proper coordination of the tasks to be performed according to procedures and customer requirement
RFQ Generation
- Ensures conduction of risk analysis prior to project quotation
- Drives the RFQ process to ensure competitive, detailed and timely quotation
- Serves as the main interlocutor/interface between the customer and IMI by challenging customer specification to fit with IMI capabilities while engaging with IMI expert on technicalities after own analysis/evaluation
Environment, Health and Safety
- Ensures compliance with all applicable safety and health protocols in the workplace such as EHS, ISO, etc.
- Ensures that the units in charge of labor safety and environmental protection are well-informed of the operations/processes/product/consumable s that could have adverse impact to the environment
- Ensures establishment and maintenance of contact with customers on technical and technological issues related to the environment
- Ensures that his team performs its official duties in accordance with the Quality and Environment, Health and Safety policies as well as long-term and short-term goals of the company
Qualification:
- Graduate of any four-year business course, preferably Engineering (ECE, EE, IE or ME)
- At least five years of related work experience, a portion of which is at a managerial capacity in the EMS industry.
- Knowledge of the engineering and quality standards
- Strong background in business planning, project management and financial analysis
- Computer literacy (Microsoft, SAP and other necessary programs/applications)
- Knowledge in MS Project an advantage
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in another language an advantage
