Job Description

The Project Manager (PM) will lead the execution of communication strategies for high-profile global accounts in the Gaming, and Technology sectors. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, acting as the bridge between senior leadership and the account team to ensure all deliverables exceed client standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management & Strategic Counsel

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the team to ensure all work align with the broader client strategy. Lead the development of new communication plans, overseeing research and tactical brainstorming.
  • Client Leadership: Serve as a primary point of contact in client meetings, providing updates on deliverables and managing expectations.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify non-BAU (business as usual) concerns and seek senior-level counsel to mitigate risks before they impact the client.
  • Thought Leadership: Actively scout for executive visibility opportunities, including speaking engagements, guest commentaries, and industry panel placements.

2. Media Relations & Content Oversight

  • Editorial Direction: Oversee the development of press materials, story pitches, and media lists led by the Account Executive (AE). Provide critical feedback to ensure client-ready quality.
  • Executive Support: Lead the drafting of briefing books and speeches for client executives to prepare them for media interviews and public appearances.
  • Hands-on Execution: Support the team during peak periods by directly developing media angles, writing editorials, or contacting event organizers when required.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Manage relationships with external partners, including athletic organizations, gaming clubs, and industry influencers, to secure quotes and participation for media activities.

3. Localization & Distribution

  • Global-to-Local Adaptation: Oversee the localization and translation of global press releases (if and when necessary) and media alerts, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency.
  • Regional Synchronization: Manage announcement schedules that align with multiple international markets, ensuring simultaneous distribution and seeding.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous hygiene checks and translation reviews on all localized content to maintain the highest linguistic and brand standards.

4. Event & Campaign Logistics

  • On-Ground Management: Lead the logistical planning for major on-ground events and tournaments.

5. Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis

  • Data Integrity: Oversee the AE's work in daily news monitoring and coverage reporting. Ensure all inputs adhere to strict client guidelines and sentiment analysis requirements.
  • Impact Reporting: Spearhead the creation of monthly completion reports and comprehensive post-campaign/year-end reports, providing data-driven insights into campaign performance.
  • Tracker Management: Maintain and update project deliverables trackers to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned on progress.
