Job Description

  • Performs project management responsibilities in either waterfall or agile methodology.
  • Prepares, creates, and maintains Project Plan and Work Plan, securing the necessary approvals as applicable.
  • Prepares and creates Project Status Reports, reporting on schedule, quality, and scope delivery.
  • Tracks project budget and costs, as applicable.
  • Ensures documentation of all risks and issues associated with the project, working with the Project Team to facilitate resolution and timely escalation when necessary.
  • Participates in and facilitates relevant meetings, as required.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external policies, security standards, and legal/regulatory requirements. Supports audit exercises when needed.
  • Facilitates post-implementation activities and prepares Close-Out Reports, as applicable.
  • Ensures completion of all required project documentation upon project closure.
  • Manages the Scrum process in coordination with the Scrum Team using Agile methodology.
  • Ensures that the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
  • Acts as a servant leader for the Scrum Team, as applicable.
  • Facilitates Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring they are conducted as scheduled.
  • Ensures effective Product Backlog management, as applicable.
  • Removes impediments to the Scrum Team's progress.
  • Ensures that the Scrum Team does not overcommit during Sprint Planning.
  • Acts as a coach and mentor to Scrum Team members.
  • Collaborates with other Scrum Masters to improve the effectiveness of Scrum practices within the organization.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
