Role Description
The Project-in-Charge (PIC) is responsible for managing and overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily construction activities and site operations
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and basic cost control measures
- Supervise site engineers, foremen, and construction workers
- Ensure quality workmanship and strict compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, site documentation, and updates
- Assist in quantity take-offs, billings, and preparation of variation orders as required
- Ensure construction works follow approved plans, specifications, and project timelines
Qualifications
- Licensed Civil Engineer or Licensed Architect (required)
- With 13 years of relevant experience in an engineering firm or architectural firm
- Proven experience in construction site supervision or project coordination
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and implement construction plans and technical specifications
- Familiarity with local construction standards, codes, and safety regulations

- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Basic knowledge of construction cost control, scheduling, and methodologies
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions on-site, and perform well under pressure
