Job Description

  • Review and analyze drawing plans and the scope of works of a given project.
  • Prepare bill of materials/quantity and costing of new or existing projects based on the scope of work given by the client and submitted proposal of subcontractors.
  • Lead, supervised & monitor the team consists of foreman, leadman & workers in implementing the project construction plan.
  • Ensure compliance with approved design and specifications, procedures, and engineering standards through close physical inspection during the execution of the project and installation of equipment and materials delivered by the supplier and/or sub-contractor.
  • Prepare construction schedule and manpower build-up schedule.
  • Coordinate with the client, consultant, general contractor, and/or sub-contractor for more organized and efficient work output.
  • Attends all technical and coordination meetings.
  • Monitor and control material requests, deliveries, and withdrawals of the project site.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Closely monitor project budget and cash flow.
  • Prepare submittals such as shop drawings, RFA/RFI, and as-built plans intended for approval of the consultant designer.
  • Prepare progress billing of the assigned project and evaluate progress billings of contractors work accomplishments and submit recommendations on claims for progress payments.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS in Electrical Engineering
  • License Electrical Engineer
  • With at least one (1) year working experience as project engineer
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work under pressure
  • Team player and goal-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Meet, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides)
  • Willing to be relocated
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures in a construction site.
  • Knowledgeable in computer aided design and other software (AutoCAD, Planswift)
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
