Project Engineer

Job Overview

• Licensed Professional will be assigned to supervise and manage projects during the Implementation (Execution) Phase of the Projects until Close-out. Will be responsible in putting in place all project resources during the onset of the Implementation Phase – including the preparation Permits, Passes and Documents to support the processing and approval thereof, Coordination with Customers and their representatives; and Internal Coordination with other Business Units. Will be responsible in ensuring that project requirements are met in a safe, timely, cost efficient and effective manner, ensuring quality, with customer satisfaction as the top most priority.

Job Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• At least 2 years experience as a Site Engineer focused on Project Implementation – Electrical System and Equipment Installations and/or Mechanical System and Equipment Installations, Fit-out Projects, and Ground Zero Projects, Exposure to CSA Fields is a plus

• Knowledge in ELV or Auxiliary Systems is an advantage

• Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting Electrical Plans and Mechanical Plans and other Plans relevant to the Project, Technical Specifications, Terms of Reference and Bid Documents

• Good Grasp in Design Fundamentals, Current Industry Standards and Codes

• Knowledgeable Surveys for Implementation Preparation

• Knowledgeable and Capable of creating Method of Procedures, Project Schedules, Gantt Charts and other required documentation/submittals (i.e. Construction Methodologies, Manpower Loading, Resource Management Programs etc.) for Project Compliance

• Experience in Project Close-out and Documentation is an advantage

• Knowledge in CAD and/or MS Project is an advantage

• Should be a Registered Electrical Engineer or Registered Mechanical Engineer with a VALID PRC License

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal is a must, capable of Multi-level Client Interfacing and must be able to carry and present himself with utmost professionalism specially when on duty

• May be assigned other tasks as deemed necessary to support main assigned responsibilities
