Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- LICENSE is a must.
- 2+ years experience in project engineering or cost estimation
- Proficient in estimation software and MS Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination with stakeholders
- One-year contract, with possible extension or regularization.
Description
Review construction drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine the exact quantities of materials required.
Utilize software tools and manual methods to perform detailed material takeoffs.
Ensure accuracy in calculations to prevent cost overruns and project delays.
Cost Estimation
Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on current market rates.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
Prepare and present cost estimation reports to project managers and clients.
Collaboration And Communication
Work closely with project managers and Operations to understand project scope and requirements.
Participate in project meetings to discuss estimates, changes, and adjustments.
Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the estimation process.
Data Management And Reporting
Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.
Utilize estimation software and databases to manage and track project costs.
Generate regular reports and updates on cost estimates and project progress
