Command Performance Constructors (CPC) is a Southern California–based construction
company founded in 1996. CPC is an A-licensed general contractor specializing in site
development including concrete, asphalt paving, grading, demolition, and site preparation.
We primarily serve military, industrial, and commercial clients throughout Southern
California and take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong safety
standards. Our team is collaborative, solutions-oriented, and committed to exceeding our
clients expectations.
We are currently seeking a remote Project Engineer based in the Philippines to support our
U.S. construction team.
Position Overview
The Project Engineer will provide remote support to CPC's project management team in the
United States. This role focuses on construction documentation, coordination, and project
tracking to help ensure projects run efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with
construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
You will work closely with CPC's Project Managers, Superintendents, and estimating team to
support multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Documentation
- Prepare and track submittals in accordance with project specifications.
- Generate and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Maintain organized project documentation and logs.
- Work with key company stakeholders to build and manage the CPC submittal library on
the server.
Plan & Specification Review
- Review construction drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Assist the project team in identifying scope items and potential issues.
- The PE will be cross-trained in take-off using BlueBeam to perform estimating for change
orders and other projects.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain project tracking logs for RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Assist in preparing project reports and documentation.
Procurement Support
- Request and organize material quotes from suppliers.
- Assist with subcontractor bid comparisons and documentation.
- Track material approvals and procurement status.
Cost Tracking
- Assist with tracking project costs and quantities.
- Review vendor and supplier invoices for accuracy.
- Support preparation of change order documentation.
Scheduling Support
- Assist with maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Update progress and help track upcoming activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction
Management.
- 3+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience with Adobe PDF for construction document review.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Site development or civil construction (concrete, asphalt paving, grading).
- Experience supporting U.S. construction projects.
- Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Work Environment
- Remote position based in the Philippines.
- Full-time role through Outsourced.
- Work schedule aligned with U.S. business hours (Pacific Time).
