We currently have an immediate need for a Project Engineer for Taguig, Philippines.


About the Role:Project Engineer specializing in Microwave Network Design and re-design to join our team. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and management of existing network of microwave, ensuring the successful optimization of microwave communication systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.



Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Management:



  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, optimized network, and resource allocation for microwave projects.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, to ensure project milestones are met within defined timelines and budget constraints.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings with customers and provide progress reports to stakeholders.


Technical Design and Engineering:



  • Design or re-design microwave communication systems and networks based on project specifications and technical requirements.

  • Perform detailed microwave path calculations, link budget analysis, and frequency planning to optimize system performance and reliability.

  • Specify and procure necessary equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with project standards and specifications.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning phases, providing timely resolution to minimize project delays.

  • Document test results, operational procedures, and as-built configurations accurately for future reference and maintenance purposes.


Stakeholder Communication and Management:



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential risks.

  • Address stakeholder feedback and change requests promptly, ensuring alignment with project objectives and contractual obligations.


Continuous Improvement and Innovation:



  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within microwave deployment practices.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to microwave communication systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement lessons learned, standardize best practices, and drive continuous improvement across projects.


Documentation and Reporting:



  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, and as-built drawings.

  • Prepare and present technical reports, documentation packages, and final project deliverables to clients and management.


Qualifications & Competencies:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience 3+ years in planning, designing, and executing microwave deployment projects, ideally within the telecommunications or network infrastructure sectors.

  • Strong understanding of microwave communication principles, RF engineering, and microwave equipment (antennas, radios, waveguides, etc.).

  • Proficiency in microwave path design tools (Pathloss, iBwave), spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
