Job Summary

The Facilities Project Engineer Mission / Purpose is to ensure safe, timely and quality facilities project execution of assigned project task. He/She should ensure timely reporting of updates/issues and should provide technical recommendations as necessary. He/She should ensure that projects meet desired allocated budget and complies with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• This role involves managing facilities project plant management, documentation, coordinating engineering projects with facilities operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and preparing contracts for equipment upgrades and construction projects from Initiation, Planning, Execution and Close-Out.
• Should be capable for the development of Scope of works, cost estimate and schedule development.
• Bid evaluation and recommendation prior to award.
• Can develop design plans, calculations and drawings needed for the project.
• Manage contractor activities and ensure safe and timely completion.
• Budget management, progress billing review, financial management/ reporting and payment process.
• Technical report and recommendation development.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
