The responsibilities associated with the position include:
- Analyze and report data that can be used to develop an accurate projection of the project for recommendation about management, quality, budget, timing and controls.
- Monitor the ongoing project activities and identify trends and abnormalities against the original agreed project plans and project performance baseline to recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and manage project baselines in scope, timing and budget.
- Identify, apply and assess the project schedule, cost and quality controls to assist the Project Director in comparing work schedules, resources, costs and quality of the project.
- Identify and put in place procedures when the scope of the project needs to be changed, knowing how and when to implement the protocols.
- Communicate with the EPC Contractor regarding current cost status and opportunities/threats based on current scope of their budget.
- Coordinate with the EPC Contractor's project controls team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of its deliverables.
- Ensure project compliance with governance, project delivery processes and project reporting standards.
- Update project schedule routinely with actual project progress.
- Create progress measurement graphs (S-Curves) to track the current status of the project.
- Manage the electronic document management system of the project.
- Comply and promote compliance with company and project specific procedures/processes in documentation
- Monitor, oversee and expedite and report on progress of EPC
- Contractor documentation and records.
- Coordinate document management related response to EPC
- Contractor Request for Information (RFIs).
- Perform other duties as may be required by the Project Manager.
