Project Control Coordinator

WSP is deploying the InEight project management platform across major projects worldwide. We are seeking Technical Coordinators to support project setup and delivery, ensure data accuracy, train project teams, and help standardize how InEight is used across regions.

What You Will Do

Set up new projects in InEight, including preparing templates, validating data, and loading project structures.

Convert project information (deliverables, workloads, disciplines) into standardized formats for setup, scheduling, and reporting.

Review scope, coding structures, cost breakdown structures, and rules of credit with Project Managers and Discipline Leads before activation.

Align project schedules with Primavera P6 (the planning and scheduling software used to manage activities, resources, and timelines).

Reconcile project budgets and schedule distributions between InEight and Primavera P6.

Prepare datasets for Power BI dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power Query, and develop PowerBI dashboards as needed.

Perform monthly updates of forecast and estimatetocomplete information and ensure all reporting sources remain aligned.

Compare actual progress, earned values, and remaining work between Primavera P6 and InEight and help synchronize both systems.

Maintain discipline mappings, activity codes, and unique identifiers for reliable tracking.

Obtain and transform data from the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and import into InEight.

Train project staff on how to use InEight effectively, including delivering walkthroughs, answering process questions, and guiding teams as they begin working independently.

Temporarily perform certain projectcontrol and tool-specific tasks during the early stages of deployment, ensuring continuity while project teams build their confidence with the tool.

What You Bring

Experience in project controls, engineering, or project management support.

Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.

Understanding of cost structures, scheduling concepts, and data transformation.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage structured datasets.

Ability to support project teams across multiple time zones and collaborate in a global environment.

Nice to have: Handson experience with the InEight platform.
