Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional and commercially driven Project CEO to lead the development progression, commercial structuring, and execution of a large-scale renewable energy project portfolio in the Philippines.

Embedded within a world-class global infrastructure investment platform, you will lead high-value assets from early-stage development to Financial Investment Decision (FID) readiness, while maintaining oversight into the construction phase to ensure seamless execution.

This is a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for driving strategic stakeholder engagement, permitting, grid access, offtake optimization, and bankability for major regional energy transition projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Leadership & Portfolio Strategy: Accountable for overall development progression across multiple projects, ensuring key milestones in permitting, grid interconnection, and commercial structuring are met.

  • Commercial Optimization & Value Creation: Lead PPA/offtake strategies, contracting frameworks, and cost optimization to establish highly bankable, investment-ready project structures.

  • Investment Decision & Execution Oversight: Prepare assets for FID and board approval, subsequently overseeing the transition into the construction phase for successful delivery.

  • High-Level Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary executive face to government authorities, energy regulators, joint-venture partners, lenders, and key contractors.

  • Team & Resource Management: Direct, mentor, and allocate local delivery teams and shared platform resources to drive cross-project synergy and risk management.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven Executive Track Record: Extensive leadership experience in utility-scale renewable energy or energy infrastructure development across all phases (Development $rightarrow$ FID $rightarrow$ Construction $rightarrow$ Operations).

  • Deal-Closing Capabilities: Proven history of taking complex renewable projects through permitting, grid access, and financial close (FID).

  • Investor-Backed Background: Prior experience working closely with top-tier infrastructure funds, investment committees, or international IPPs.

  • Commercial & Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in commercial structuring, project finance, offtake strategy, and contract negotiations (EPC/O&M). (A technical background is not mandatory, but a strong foundational understanding of renewable technologies is required).

  • Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build high-trust partnerships in the Philippines.
