Project Architect


We are seeking a Project Architect to lead and manage architectural projects from concept through completion. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered successfully while meeting client expectations, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.


The ideal candidate will oversee project coordination, technical development, and design implementation, while collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Work duties include, but are not limited to:


1. Project Management

a. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of architectural projects from concept through completion.

b. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.


2. Technical Coordination

a. Lead the coordination of architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.

b. Resolve technical issues and ensure the accuracy and integrity of design and construction documentation.


3. Client Interaction

a. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.

b. Collaborate with clients to refine project goals, requirements, and expectations.


4. Design Oversight

a. Ensure design solutions align with project objectives, client needs, and organizational standards.

b. Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and design proposals.


5. Regulatory Compliance

a. Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and other regulatory requirements.

b. Coordinate the preparation, submission, and approval of documentation with relevant regulatory agencies.


6. Team Collaboration

a. Collaborate with and mentor architectural team members, supporting their professional growth and development.

b. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and productive team environment.


7. Construction Administration

a. Participate in site visits, construction meetings, and inspections to ensure adherence to design intent and project specifications.

b. Address construction-phase issues and provide timely design solutions.


8. Quality Assurance

a. Maintain and enforce quality control procedures throughout all phases of the project.

b. Ensure design deliverables meet the organization’s standards for quality and accuracy.


9. Presentation and Documentation

a. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

b. Produce clear, comprehensive architectural drawings, reports, and project documentation.


10. Other Duties

a. Perform other related duties as required to support successful project delivery.
