Job Description

Manuel L. Quezon University, one of our affiliates, is seeking a Professor of Graduate Studies to deliver advanced instruction, conduct scholarly research, and provide academic leadership in graduate programs across Psychology, Public Administration, and Education disciplines. The role involves mentoring graduate students, contributing to curriculum development, and enhancing the institution's scholarly reputation through research, publications, and community engagement.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Deliver graduate-level courses in Psychology, Public, and Education disciplines.
  • Design, develop, and update curriculum, ensuring alignment with current academic standards and industry trends.
  • Employ innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Mentor and supervise graduate students in their research, theses, or dissertations.
  • Conduct high-quality research relevant to Psychology, Public, and Education fields.
  • Publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.
  • Seek research funding through grants, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Guide students in research methodology, data analysis, and publication.
  • Participate in program development, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve on academic and administrative committees, contributing to institutional governance.
  • Provide expert consultation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote professional development and community outreach initiatives.
  • Advise graduate students on academic progression, career planning, and professional growth.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback and evaluation on student performance and progress.

Qualifications, Skills And Experience

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Public Administration, Education, or related fields.
  • Proven record of teaching experience at the graduate level.
  • Strong research and publication record in relevant disciplines.
  • Excellent communication, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with modern instructional technologies and online teaching platforms is an advantage.
  • Ability to mentor graduate students and guide research effectively.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and lifelong learning.
  • Experience in community engagement or applied research is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving academic and technological environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities.
