The Planning Analyst is essential in the data review and analysis including gaps identification, opportunities and risks that will support business requirements.
- Review and analyze data to see gaps, opportunities & risks through planning scenarios, calculations and iterations. Key result areas such as Build plan offer commit process, Cores inventory, New Products and Internal Repair planning, Full Kits ATB, EOL process, Parts E&O, Inventory control and materials requirement planning.
- Analyze and reports data to support the achievement of goals, objectives and initiatives. Includes data needed in the execution, measurement and mitigation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), metrics/dashboards.
- Develop planning scenarios and views from offers, commits, supply and forecasts
- Perform and review Materials Requirement Plan, strategic material plan, safety stock plan, spot orders/additional orders, risk orders and other models of requirements planning on a periodic and timely manner
- Perform and review cores, parts and inventory forecasting needs; maximizing potential repair/reman feasibility; ensuring supply health visibility over a period not lesser than 6 months (on-order and forecast) and ensuring sufficient and cost-efficient inventory flow management
- Mitigates, escalates and recommends solution.
- Initiate, create, implement and innovate planning tools, templates, process flows, methods and presentations
- Acts as a subject matter expert on Planning operations.
- Document continuous improvements from work instructions, job aids and procedures
- Coordinates all Planning Specialists activities and ensure deliverables are met
