Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Management - Volume targets are met to meet the production requirement.
- Productivity and Process Improvement- Actively participate in the implementation of productivity improvement projects, as well as cost savings initiatives in the various areas within the Selenium Production Plant.
- Environmental, Health and Safety - Actively participate in the investigation of near-misses and incidents, and ensuring that these are reported and commitment dates for closure of the actions are followed.
Education & Experience
- High school graduate, vocational course graduate, or TESDA-certified in relevant field
- Experience and background in a chemical industry is an advantage
- Able to operate machines and equipment
Skills
- Basic understanding of chemical handling and industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read meters, gauges, and production instructions.
- Physically fit and able to work in shifts.
Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite
- Working condition are normal for a chemical laboratory environment.
- Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 25 kg.
- Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment and personnel protection equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes/boots and hardhats.
- Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted to me worn.
