We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards in quality, safety, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production planning, workflow optimization, cost control, and people leadership while partnering closely with senior leadership to align operational performance with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth workflow and resource utilization
- Monitor production performance and implement process improvements
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability
- Ensure production output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards
- Track production KPIs and prepare operational performance reports
Cost & Project Management
- Lead cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives
- Manage production budgets and monitor spending against targets
- Review and approve production-related expenditures
- Lead production-related projects from planning through implementation
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams
- Manage manpower planning and shift allocation
- Drive accountability and performance across the department
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Strategic Planning
- Partner with senior leadership on operational strategy
- Identify opportunities to improve scalability and productivity
- Support long-term manufacturing capability growth
- Assess risks and implement proactive operational solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
